This web tool allows you to upload a PDF document, have it scanned for links (URLs) and produce a report of which links may be broken.
A couple of things:
- This is a free tool. You don't need to register, sign-in, or opt-in to anything.
Unless the file is huge, you will get a report on the screen within a minute or two. It will include a list of possibly broken links, the
website's error codes and other useful info that you can do with as you please.
- If you include your email addreess, the report will also be mailed to along with a link where the report will be stored for up to 3 days. (This is helpful if, in fact, the file is huge or if it has several broken links.)
- No other information is required, nothing will be used for any other marketing purposes, yadda yadda.
- Why free? A teacher needed a way to check links in PDFs - this is it. No muss, no fuss, no marketing followup or SPAMs.
However, if you find this tool useful, you can feed our coders via a donation.
Enjoy!
